Maryland Agriculture Showcase Attendant
MAEF is seeking qualified individuals to serve as attendants on the very popular “Amazing! Maryland Agriculture Showcase. The Showcase travels to fairs, festivals, and events throughout Maryland. Attendants are needed for all regions of Maryland including Western, Central, Southern, Upper Shore and Lower Shore. For a complete job description please see the attached announcement below. National FBEN P/T Position: Conference Organizer Consultant
The National Farm-Based Education Network is seeking a consultant to support the planning of a national conference taking place November 9-13, 2019 in the Greater Baltimore Area. Work to be completed between April 1 and November 30, 2019. Organizers expect around 250-400 attendees at the conference. Estimated time to complete this effort is approximately 425 hours. About the Farm-Based Education Network (FBEN) The FBEN is a free member network established to strengthen and support the work of educators, farmers, and community leaders who provide access and experiences of all kinds on working farms. The FBEN is a project administered by Shelburne Farms and supported by regional groups, network advisers, and founding partners. Founded in 2006, this will be the Network’s 7th conference. The most recent conference was in Concord, MA in 2016 ( see program ). The FBEN is committed to building a culturally diverse, welcoming conference environment and event organizing team. The FBEN is committed to fostering a culturally aware learning community that invites multiple perspectives.
