On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, the Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation, Inc. and the Maryland Nursery, Landscape, and Greenhouse Association co-hosted the Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at the Oakmont Green Golf Course in Hampstead, Maryland. We would like to thank the sponsors, players, volunteers, and staff that made this event so successful. This event enables us to raise scholarship funds for Maryland students continuing education in the field of agriculture and we couldn’t do it without your support. Thank you so much for coming out and playing for a good cause!

New Hybrid Teacher Course!

Attention Elementary Teachers! The Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation is offering a *new* hybrid 8-week course (3 MSDE CPD credits) designed for elementary teachers to infuse agriculture topics into their core subjects.

Teachers will complete the course with lesson plans, resources, classroom books, classroom materials, background knowledge centered around agriculture in the elementary classroom.

Book a Mobile Lab

Did you know you can book a Mobile Science Lab to come visit your school? The Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation’s Mobile Science Lab Program offers three themed labs that feature of variety of investigations and lessons. All lessons are aligned with NGSS, Environmental Literacy Standards, Science & Engineering Practices, and Common Core State Standards. Revenues generated by the sale of the Ag Tag help underwrite the expense of nearly all of the Foundation’s programs and educational outreach activities. Purchase Ag Tags from the Motor Vehicle Administration for $20.

Eligible vehicles are cars, trucks up to 26,000 GVW, landscape & equipment trailers, RVs, farm trucks, handicap plates, and boat trailers.
